At “Locals Tasting Room” in Geyserville I sampled William Gordon 2011 Petite Sirah. Only 375 cases of this made of this incredible wine. It has such a smokey taste to it that you think you are at an oak BBQ! Sofie and I purchased two bottles.
I have not visited their winery in Cloverdale – but on the weight of this amazing Sirah – I will be driving up there to see what other offerings they have. The discounted price was $30 a bottle – and the quality is comparable to a $90 bottle of Sirah.
