Originally founded in 1983 as the Cloverdale Citrus Fair Wine Competition, today the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is one of the largest, most important and prestigious wine competitions in the world, and it receives thousands of entries from wineries across the country ever year. More than 60 experts within the media, trade, hospitality and education industries from all over the country meet to judge nearly 7,000 wines at the competition annually, and a medal from this industry event is considered the gold standard for the industry.
William Gordon Winery vintages have been awarded Double Gold, Gold and Silver medals over the past ten plus years – we are proud and honored to present a selection of our award-winning vintages, some that are still available for purchase via our library wine collection …
