2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine comes from the Peterson Vineyards in Northern Alexander Valley, overlooking the Russian River. The vineyard’s rocky, well-drained soils and hillside location contribute to the character of the grapes.
Tasting Notes: Dark ruby in color, with aromas of red currant, blackberry, and cedar. Flavors include dark summer berries, cedar, and spice, with medium tannins, balanced acidity, and a long finish featuring cassis and mocha spice.
Technical Details: Harvested September 20, 2016. Alcohol: 14.6%. Aged for more than two years in French oak.
