Meticulously grown and well managed vineyards yield grapes from which well-crafted wines originate. However, it takes time and proper aging to reveal a vintage’s true potential. At William Gordon Winery, we strive to release our wines when they strike that balance of youthful maturity, keeping in mind there is still some growth potential in the bottle. We hold these wines in the cellar for a time allowing them to develop so you, the customer, may enjoy them when they are ready. That doesn’t mean they have peaked, quite the contrary; these wines have years of growth potential if well cellared.
From time to time, our Wine Library offers some special vintages. These limited offerings showcase the varietal and vintage’s development from year to year. Our Wine Club Members have first offering of these many exciting collectibles.
